Model Repositories
Model Repositories Overview
Collection of additional model repositories including MuJoCo Golf Swing Model, Pendulum Golf Models, and other biomechanical simulation frameworks. These repositories provide physics-based simulations and analysis tools for understanding golf swing dynamics across different modeling platforms.
Golf Modeling Suite
The primary repository for golf swing biomechanical analysis. A unified platform consolidating golf swing modeling across multiple physics simulation frameworks including MuJoCo (recommended), Drake, Pinocchio, OpenSim, and MyoSuite. Enables comprehensive analysis from simple educational pendulums to complex 290-muscle musculoskeletal models. See the Golf Modeling Suite page for details or visit the GitHub repository(opens in a new tab).
Pendulum Golf Models
Pendulum-based models and simulations that serve as simplified analogs for understanding golf swing dynamics. Includes single, double, and multi-link pendulum systems providing insights into control-affine systems, drift-input decomposition, and the fundamental physics of underactuated multibody systems. These models are included in the Golf Modeling Suite.
Model Categories
The model repositories are organized by simulation platform and complexity level:
3D Models: Full three-dimensional biomechanical models (Golf Model, MuJoCo)
2D Models: Simplified planar models for educational purposes (2D Golf Model)
Physics Engines: Models using specialized physics simulation (MuJoCo, Drake)
Rigid Body Dynamics: Models using rigid body dynamics libraries (Pinocchio)
Simplified Systems: Reduced complexity models (Pendulum Models)
